The dragon lifted his head imperiously as Harktoum picked himself up off the ground.
“Now, we’re even.”
Grunting noncommittally, Harktoum got up to stand in front of Blazer.
“So, what was so important that you felt the unrestrainable need to dropkick me in the face while. I. was. Sleeping?”
The red dragon punctuated his last words with angry taps of his deadly claws on the floor.
